I like to have my YOY difference columns show red (-ve) or green (+ve). Currently I have to format EACH field separately. This is incredible time consuming when you have a lot of matrices and change out fields for different years. You can't 'copy' formats between fields, you have to redo the (incredibly clumsy) rule making each time and for some reason the default conditional formatting is shades of blue (???). Surely the most highly used conditional formatting for numerical data would be depicting positive & negative?
To laboriously repeat the same action over and over again defies logic and reminds me of the cardinal rule of coding... the need for repeated code (in this case actions) is indicative of poor design.
If you could select all fields, or multiple fields, and apply formatting or conditional formatting at once would be a great addition to Power BI. Also, a format painter would be great, or the ability to point to another field in the visualizations pane to emulate its formatting.
