When two or more visuals are overlaid, putting a third visual in Spotlight seems to impact the Z-Order of the overlaid visuals. In this simple example, I hid a circle under the rectangle that normally you could not see (https://i.imgur.com/Lpy6AeE.png). It becomes visible when another visual is in Spotlight (https://i.imgur.com/BZroeN6.png).
