HH:MM:SS displayed in visuals

Currently, fields in seconds can only be displayed as HH:MM:SS after being converted to text. This is done by extracting each of those hour, minute and second fields, then concatenating a colon between each. However, as this conversion process causes the value to be a text, it can't be measured in any other visual type than and displayed on single or multi-row cards, tables, or matrix visuals .

It would be helpful to have a DAX function that could not only convert a field listed in seconds (or minutes, hours, etc.) into HH:MM:SS, but also allow that measure to be displayed on other chart types as numeric, instead of text so it can be measured with other fields.
