RE: Export to Power Point

Filtering, including synced sliders must be supported.
This is a must.
Business Case: you create a Project Progress/Update report for use across a Portfolio.
You want a standard way to share those Reports to executives, Steering commitees, and you want a PPT version (snapshot) of your specific Project being easily available and distributed.

RE: Export to Power Point

When you export to Power Point in Power BI service, you only get the standard report. If a user use the filters, you do not get the filtered report in Power Point. It should be possible - otherwise the Power Point function is worthless. And it should not take a minute or so to export to Power Point.

And I agree: Printing is af mess.

RE: Export to Power Point

Filters needed ASAP. Huge security risk if not available

RE: Export to Power Point

Hello,
It would be a really helpful feature to allow the users to export specific visuals (either from a report or from a dashboard) as Pictures as simple as select a "Copy to clipboard as picture" from a ... menu.
So they can just "Copy - Paste" individual visuals to Power Point presentations, etc.
This will provide flexibility and would not limit the users to exporting the whole report.
Thank you
Michael

RE: Export to Power Point

I agree that the fact that custom vis does not go across to powerpoint does present a problem. Typically, you use a custom vis because it meets a user's needs and nothing else will do. These sorts of users typically want to view/print their document in a range of formats.

Hi Caroline, Just wanted to check if you got the solution for your problem (order of variable changes while exporting the data)

RE: Export to Power Point

Only issue in PowerBI web is that custom visualizations dont always work. An example is the Histogram visualization from the Visualization store. When exporting the web report to powerpoint, I just get a notice that that visualization is not supported.
