Alot of companies that work prefer onpremise, hence power BI report server needs dashboards!!!

With the November release - this remains the one critical missing piece from the on prem Power BI report server. Hopefully this is top of the list for the next update.

So you can pin visuals from an SSRS report to a Dashboard but you cannot pin visuals from a Power BI Report in Power BI Report Server to a Dashboard? Makes no sense...

That's a bit arbitrary - "we named it as such so you can't have these functions"
What we WANT is Power BI On-Premise. *All* the features, not some subset because you decided to call it Power BI Report Server.

Just curious. havent tried. WHat happens if you publish a PBIX file that contains single sheet with 4 or 5 visualizations/reports designed in it to Power BI report server? How does it work on report server?

Really need Dash boarding for the on premise server install. Particularly because of limitations we are having to perform work around like installing Office Online Server to publish live connected excel workbooks because you don't support calculated members on User Hierarchies. We need to incorporate the excel visuals in line with our Power BI visuals.

Dashboards are completely necessary. Power BI Report Server should have the same functionality as the Power BI Services but on premise. Unfortunately certain companies can not have their data in the cloud.

Dashboards should be an integral component of any complete report service ... be it SSRS, Power BI Service or Power BI Report Server.
