When you've defined data as a location but no maps are showing when you populate data fields - tell me why! Competitors like Tableau show you when a location isn't recognised and this helps us understand how we need to fix our data to make location maps work. In Power Bi I'm just getting a blank white space with no maps with no idea why...

I submitted the same issue and in looking at replies to other similar issues, it says the issue is solved, but it obviously isn't. I get that some people have fire wall issues, but if you are able to pull up Bing Maps outside Power BI, why wouldn't the maps come up inside Power BI? An explanation of what the Report Render error is (that happens when the maps come up blank) would be helpful.
