When one has created custom column after custom column, you can't refresh your source afterwards again as the data set has become to big at ones. As one would now refresh the source, all custom columns gets also refreshed and therefore you system will run out of memory.

Even better, I got myself a custom column that my basic laptop (8 GB) can't handle and I have to use the 'advanced pc' (24 GB) just to get the operation executed.

My suggestion would be that there is a functions that would enable us to just but refresh the source. When refreshed, the custom column would say #error, or #source-updated, or anything else. Then you have to right click the custom column to refresh just but that selected column. An addition could be when Ctrl pressing multiple columns could enable you to refresh multiple custom columns at ones.
