The comments feature is great but it's rendered useless if no one knows that they've got a comment that they need to read.
The comments feature has so much potential but we're on the verge of advising people not to use it as not everyone is getting 'alerts'ed when a comment is posted that references their name. We all have Teams now so this would work.
At present... those with mobile phones get the 'alerts' on their mobile and for them it works great - but not all have work mobiles. Our onmicrosoft.com accounts are not mapped to our outlook so this isn't an option. We've explored it but there doesn't seem to be anyway to get the onmicrosoft account to forward mails to another email address.
