    I work in a big insurance company and due to security reasons, we can't upload anything to the cloud / the power BI web services.
    However, we love and use the Power Bi desktop to create beautiful internal reports. but we need to share them internally with slides.
    we need a way to export reports directly from the power BI desktop to PowerPoint (without publishing the report to the web)

    This is a must have feature for all the analysts in my team and will love to have your support on that.

    My last company first time tried Power BI in 2015. Now we're evaluating visualization tool for the new company and I just cannot believe this basic functionality is still not there. Please add the "export multiple page storyboard in PDF format" as early as possible!!!!!

    If you don't need or won't use the web publishing aspect of Power BI I think Tableau is a better option.You can publish to pdf and export information and graphs more easily. They also have a free desktop reader so your recipients can interact with and view dynamic dashboards

    ABSOLUTELY! It is a bit unreasonable to expect to share your PowerBI results only through the desktop tool if posting to a server is not a viable option. Sometimes, posting to a server would be overkill. I've often need to perform analysis and share it with my team or my boss without needing it to be on a server for all to see. A quick PP slide or two goes a long way for quick reviews.
