I work in a big insurance company and due to security reasons, we can't upload anything to the cloud / the power BI web services.
However, we love and use the Power Bi desktop to create beautiful internal reports. but we need to share them internally with slides.
we need a way to export reports directly from the power BI desktop to PowerPoint (without publishing the report to the web)
This is a must have feature for all the analysts in my team and will love to have your support on that.

I agree. for security reason we are not permitted to use the cloud, but use reporting services and sharepoint. we need to be able to export a visual or a page to pdf, et al, and not just a csv.

Export to PDF is not sufficient (from pdf to PowerPoint regularly messes it up).

Really would like to be able to export the ENTIRE visual (not just the section that is currently being displayed) to PDF or to print to paper.

Better integration with Office 365 is imperative. Why is it so hard to get the visuals into Powerpoint, Word, Publisher? Please implement

Yes, Export to PDF is available. But, any updates if the Export to Power point would be released in any of the upcoming updates?

Export to PDF is just available for the visible site. It's not possible to export a full site of my too long Matrix.

Hi all! I´m doing a BI-program assessment for our company and ALL of the competing platforms, that I have checked out, have exporting options ready to go.
When we are talking about where this data is being exported to? well to Excel / Word / Power point!
This makes no sense at all. Power BI is in Office 365 setup platform but it doesn't support the programs that are in the same bundle? This should be easy to use, ready made feature for any add in or program in MS-lineup, image type, table within the Office 365. I would imagine this would be the "go to" reason to use Power BI in conjunction of any existing programs from same service.

Is a screenshot of the top of the scrolling report (I see a picture of the scroll bar I can't use) supposed to be a PDF export? I can hit the print screen key and get that, if that is all it does.
We need these to paginate with headers, footers, etc... I can't post sensitive data to a public website, so I need to be able to publish a PDF of the report for internal use.
