Feature to use same dimension as filter in your report page. When you use drillthrough feature and you end up to a new report page. Your action has selected a value for drillthrough filter. If you use same dimension as a separate filter visual it only contains the same value as drillthrough filter. You need to clear drillthrough filter value first and start exploring your data after.

Totally agree with Joel and TonDeli! It's basic behaviour in any reporting tool and can't find any useful workaround to the problem.

Can't believe there are not more votes for this. Drillthrough is still lacking due to how the drillthrough filters are applied in the Filter Pane which are not connected to slicer filters and cannot be cleared without clicking "back" or manually clearing them from the filter pane.

RE: Use drillthrough filters as filters in report canvas

YES! This is very confusing and frustrating that the drillthrough filters are NOT tied to other filters. Eg. drillthrough a value, but the slicer does not filter accordingly. As stated in the idea, you must clear the drillthrough filter first before you can filter with slicers or other visual filters.

There are several ideas now posted relating to the shortcomings and issues with how DrillThrough was implemented. Please provide fixes/improvements.
