I think using SSRS type of reports to show detailed information that make up measures dispalayed on the dashboard would be useful. Currently I do that in performance point using actions from my tabular models. I think if that was included this would be a full replacement to performance point.

We released URL parameter support for this scenario in the summer of 2019.  In addition, the new paginated report visual coming soon will allow additional options to drill into your data in a paginated report directly inside you Power BI report with a paginated report.

Does it allow to choose the rendering format like HTML/xml and etc as same as ssrs?

This is fantastic that it is started and will be a welcome addition to the overall solution.

absolutely needed, everyone else reiterated what I would say, pass parameters, identity if you can, etc.

This is critical for enterprise adoption. Dashboards tell a good story, but the drill thru to SSRS would provide the WHY.

Absolutely necessary, one of the most common requests at the company I work for.
Many times, users have to go back to the ERP system to manually run a report, where they manually enter all the different filters they had already applied in powerbi only to retrieve and be able to share the underlying data in a proper format that can be printed as a document.

This is absolutely vital for enterprises - SSRS complements Power BI - it can answer the "why?" questions that are simply less friendly in a Power BI table/matrix

I'd like to add my support to this feature. We are an enterprise user, implementing a Performance and Operational Monitoring dashboard for our mobile workforce. We need to be able to drilldown to the type of detailed reports that SSRS is ideal for. We need a hybrid solution to use the best of both products. I should say we need this in the On-Prem Report Server environment as data governance stops us using the Cloud.

This idea has a goodly amount of votes. Could we get an update on where it stands in the review process? It would be helpful to know if and when we could plan on this option being available for future project planning, as it truly would be a game-changer for the user experience (especially in tandem with allowing paginated reports to be visible in the Power BI mobile app, which is a different suggestion that also has a decent amount of votes).

Thanks for your consideration!
