The ability to configure a slicer to only be able to select one attribute at a time - similar to a radio button. I would like to disable the ability for people to either choose select all or choose multiple slicers.

Hi everyone! The slicer now supports a radio button mode too, with real single-select behaviour. You'll see updated options in the property pane that let you control this. Thanks for your patience and feedback!

Yes please fix as soon as possible. I have a lot of reports that don't make sense if people choose multiple selections (eg. local vs group currency)

Radio buttons on slicers would be a great addition - we need the ability to select a single option from the list (i.e. disable the use of CTRL to select multiple)

Slicers do not have a way to force only a single selection. Users can always click CTRL and multi-select. There should be a way to force a one single selection. In some cases, such as "select a currency" - this leads to nonsense results. You would not want someone to choose Euro and Pounds when selecting which currency to convert to.

It is frustrating that people can still choose multiple values even when single select is on. Radio buttons might fix this.

We have scenarios like show values in USD and Eur, thinking of a slicer which allows selecting only one value at a time, so that the user can either see in USD or EUR.

Even with the single select option enabled, you can still use control to make multiple selections. This is a massive draw back for me as I have percentages data to display, where I need the user to only be able to make one selection (and also that it defaults to a certain selection on opening).

How to use Slicer as Radio button. Other than slicer is there any option to make radio button.

Slicer issues:
1. If I have a single select on a vertical orientation, either remove the checkbox or change it to a radio button. Perhaps make this an option to turn on/off. It turns off on horizontal orientation but should be an option on vertical (and really only makes sense when single select is turned off.
2. I need to specify a default value (especially for date) as all chart calculations are out until somebody selects a value. How does a new user know to select a value first. It is important to allow a default value.

I dont think so what is mention at the bottom is possible, this a really need for me too asit doesnt make any sense to select multiple values in the slicer.
