There needs to be a way to print tables which have too many rows as to fit on one page. Additionally, the inclusion of filters and data slicers should be at the top of each printed table/matrix so the user knows what he is looking at.

Paginated reports are designed for printing tables and matrices that are multiple pages long or wide. Consider using a paginated report for tables you want to print.

RE: Proper Printing of Tables

This is definitely a needed feature. Many users may want to view tabular data that goes past what is simply displayed on the screen and would otherwise require scrolling to view. Microsoft needs to find an ability to have users print only the "top" certain number of pages since some tables may contain hundreds of thousands (or more) rows. I think this would be a good solution to the problem by allowing users to print "X" number of pages of a table.

RE: Proper Printing of Tables

Please fix printing for tables! They currently print with weird formatting (not what it looks like on the dashboard) and you can't see all the data.

RE: Proper Printing of Tables

Indeed. I just spent a lot of time putting together (what should have been) a simple dynamic list of group members intended to be printed, only to find that you can't really print it since if it is a long list, only one page is printed and the list is cut off.

Please guys, stop working on all the fancy bells ans whistles, and fix the very basic things first (e.g. printing, word wrap, etc...).

Also printed tables don't look the same as presented in the report or dashboard - must be fixed as well.

RE: Proper Printing of Tables

'This is a must for any BI tool

In my opinion, this can work:
- As pivot table in excel, you cannot place elements in the bottom of the table so it can grow down as needed
- Or defining which elements belong to a "header section" (which must be repeated in all the pages) and which elements belong to a "detail section"

Please let us know if you are going to move forward with this.

RE: Proper Printing of Tables

I think not being able to properly print a table is a big disappointment for potential power bi clients.

Being able to label any visualization with the slicers/filters selected would be really good -- whether printing or just viewing.

RE: Proper Printing of Tables

I'm really not sure why these features aren't included by default. There's been a big buy-in for PowerBI here, and we've put many hours investigating migrating on-prem cusotm reports to PowerBI only to find that we can't print anything!
