I have volumes of information to share with my teams that is best presented in tables and matrices. It would be a huge improvement if they were able to export the data from the visualizations and have the formatting in Excel match the formatting created within PowerBI.
This would be especially helpful for ongoing forecasting activities.

This feature will be very useful if it is structured same as in the Matrix visuals, also directly copy and paste from Matrix visuals to Excel .

Please make this happen! The consumers of my reports are actual humans and prefer the data to export pivoted!

I believe 2021 release wave 2 went out 9/28. I still don't see how to do this. Can someone show me?

Export the data from the visualizations and have the formatting in Excel match the formatting created within PowerBI.
Try this workaround:
Remove the dollar or pound sign in Power BI for all values, then just above Visual (Matrix or Table) click ... , select Export data, File format .xlsx (Excel), Export. After export you can do an AutoSum in excel , on all columns.

This would be especially useful if the full table was exported to excel even if not visible on the single PBI screen (i.e. the table has more rows than can be presented on page of the report).

We so need this feature. On top of it a schedule export of those particular tables/data visuals.

This feature would be very helpful to our business. Some visualisations are impossible or at very least very time consuming to recreate in excel. It would make life much easier if it were exported as it looks in Power BI.

Its 5 Years old and almost 6K upvotes and still its in "Planned" status.
Its high time needs to be implemented ASAP
