I have volumes of information to share with my teams that is best presented in tables and matrices. It would be a huge improvement if they were able to export the data from the visualizations and have the formatting in Excel match the formatting created within PowerBI.

This would be especially helpful for ongoing forecasting activities.

We have a lot of unhappy power bi users in the organisation that were eagerly waiting for this update for a very long time. It is disappointing this was not part of the October 20210 release. We would like some insight if this is ever happening? And when?
Thanks

W

This is the most needed update for our organization, where will it arrive??

W

We were expecting this functionality in the October 2021 Update

W

I thought this feature Woolf be a part of the October release bit I cannot find it. Any updates on Wien tis will be available?

W

would be great feature. Many in our company would benefit to have the download appear as in the matrix. Please roll this out thanks

W

This feature will be very useful if it is structured same as in the Matrix visuals, also directly copy and paste from Matrix visuals to Excel .

W

Please make this happen! The consumers of my reports are actual humans and prefer the data to export pivoted!

W

I believe 2021 release wave 2 went out 9/28. I still don't see how to do this. Can someone show me?
Easier and unlimited deployment of Power BI Embedded multitenant solution

W

Export the data from the visualizations and have the formatting in Excel match the formatting created within PowerBI.

Try this workaround:
Remove the dollar or pound sign in Power BI for all values, then just above Visual (Matrix or Table) click ... , select Export data, File format .xlsx (Excel), Export. After export you can do an AutoSum in excel , on all columns.

Ability to highlight and directly copy and paste from Matrix to Excel would be awesome!
