    Allow Table and Matrix Data Exports to Match PowerBI Visual

    I have volumes of information to share with my teams that is best presented in tables and matrices. It would be a huge improvement if they were able to export the data from the visualizations and have the formatting in Excel match the formatting created within PowerBI.

    This would be especially helpful for ongoing forecasting activities.

    Functionality if needed. Having associates export and rebuild in a pivot is not efficient.

    I agree, this was one of the first feature requests received from our end users upon release. Please add the functionality.

    This is a big problem for my organization. We use the matrix visualization extensively. As it currently stands, people can't export due to the massive amounts of data underlying a matrix that has many drill down layers. The export should only contain what the matrix actually shows.

    Please please please allow table and matrix data exports that look like the power bi matrix!! we have it in such a nice format but have to do sooooo much work still!!!

    I couldn't have said this better! I really hopes this gets resolved. I'm trying to migrate a bunch of reports from SSRS into Power BI and I ran into this Power BI export format limitation. IN SSRS, the matrix format is kept when the data is exported.
