Allow Table and Matrix Data Exports to Match PowerBI Visual

I have volumes of information to share with my teams that is best presented in tables and matrices. It would be a huge improvement if they were able to export the data from the visualizations and have the formatting in Excel match the formatting created within PowerBI.

This would be especially helpful for ongoing forecasting activities.

Critical functionality for adoption in my company and many others.

Many BI Platforms have this basic feature. PowerBI's current export to excel feature is misleading. User's (especially corporate execs) do not have time or expertise to manually recreate a matrix view they see in a Power BI report within Excel for a presentation or to do some quick ad-hoc calculations. Just give the option to extract the current view. Thank you.

This is crucial to continue adoption for business users. Unfortunately in
my scenario the data cannot be converted in excel to a pivot table since the data is text and can't be set to the one of the options: average, min....
