I have volumes of information to share with my teams that is best presented in tables and matrices. It would be a huge improvement if they were able to export the data from the visualizations and have the formatting in Excel match the formatting created within PowerBI.
This would be especially helpful for ongoing forecasting activities.

Super users want to develop the reports on there own and also need to export the data as is. We are waiting for this feature to move further. Microsoft should introduce this as soon as possible.

business community desperately needs to be able to export EXACTLY what they see on the reports when export to xls. after 6 months of development of SSIS/SSAS model and much data validation of a suite of reports we are facing no-go issues due to export to xls non-functionality as we are moving from OBIEE to MS PBI .

This lack of a basic feature is preventing this from being a useful tool for our sales force and service teams. PBI can give some nice visuals but the lack of an exportable matrix prevents this from being a serious contender with a business requiring sales data analysis and sharing of information.

We need this function. I share data that needs later formula. Its a waste of time to generate a new Pivot Table in excel to match the Matrix.

We desperately need this. I have a bunch of customers comparing this to tableau and this is a major gap for them.
