I have volumes of information to share with my teams that is best presented in tables and matrices. It would be a huge improvement if they were able to export the data from the visualizations and have the formatting in Excel match the formatting created within PowerBI.
This would be especially helpful for ongoing forecasting activities.

I cannot believe that there is still no timeline planned yet to release this. My organization is going to dump the product soon cos of the severe lack of this very basic feature.

Thanks for the suggestion there a couple of different aspects to this (so likely when it comes will get delivered incrementally and the team does want to get to it...but no time line as yet

This is very annoying. Exporting a matrix visual should be exported the way it is seen on the page just like in Excel. Not acceptable. This should be a core, basic feature!

This is key, considering it is a microsoft product. Management has the assumption this can be dropped down into excel to play with... yet it required a build out each time data is refreshed to deliver in Excel.

This feature is very important to me! Otherwise our sales team will not use power bi. I think this is just quite a fundamental feature for any report tools...
