I have volumes of information to share with my teams that is best presented in tables and matrices. It would be a huge improvement if they were able to export the data from the visualizations and have the formatting in Excel match the formatting created within PowerBI.
This would be especially helpful for ongoing forecasting activities.

Much needed feature. Seems like a really basic one. Really shocked that power BI doesn't have it.

Can't believe this is not an option yet. We are recreating our reports from Oracle BI to Power BI. It's hard to convince users to move on until they have option to print reports or at least export to excel without loosing all the formatting. Both are options not available right now!!

This really needs to be address. Even if you could export the matrix as visualized to Excel would be a good start. I have so many users complaining about this. Creates a lot of work.

It's very embaracing to not be able to export as it is under Excel. if we consider the work to rebuild using pivot table, it's massive amount of time.

This is a serious problem. We need to export into Excel and match the PBI visual. Users are totally confused and frustrated when getting results that don't look like their visual.

This is a massive blocker too.
I have mentioned previously on other posts in the PBI Community that many organisations still cant grasp the idea of not having an excel spreadsheet and almost always regardless of the solution built in Power BI, the want the ability to export in Excel!
The ability to export in Excel from PBI to match the PBI Visual is a must!

Agree with everyone else - this is blocking usage of PBI right now with my client
