I have 2 dataflows, one in the Development Workspace and another in the Testing Workspace.
As development progresses, the 2nd dataflow will be similar but not necessarily an exact replica of the first.

Similarly, I want to have a PBIX file with the data model and measures in Development and in Testing.

While dataflows can be migrated using JSON file, and easily have their data source edited, the PBIX file seems to have the dataflow source editable only with the Advanced Editor, which uses the id from the dataflow/workspace URL.

My suggestion is that the cogwheel menu on the Power Query "Source" step allows selecting the correct dataflow from the correct workspace instead.
