while the rgb picker is all very nice, there is no option to cancel out of it and NOT apply the color selected, should you not like the result. In addition, ctrl/z does not back out the most recent color selection when using the rgb picker. The only way to unapply the color is to close the desktop session and not save. Am I missing something here?
