@Luke McManagan - this feature (& described in the microsoft docs URL you provided) does not work / is not supported on Power BI Report Server (i.e. on-premises) edition of Power BI. It would be great if this same querystring parameter also worked for PBIRS.
Hi All, this feature has already been provided - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-embed-secure#customize-your-embed-experience-using-url-settings
This has been a requested feature for 3 years. Would love to hear back from the development team as to why this can't be implemented.
Support for something like "rs:pageName=MyPage" on the querystring for Power BI Report Server (on-premises) would be fantastic - sad that it's missing.
We need such possibility.
URL for specfic TABS and also selections. This is the number one complain about why people here will not use PowerBI versus other tools . Toooooo many repeat clicks to get to the same view point
This is a much needed feature. This item alone has made Power BI not very popular in my organizations. It is very common to use different views for different audiences in a single report. Also, embedding without an option of what tab to display be default is a huge obstacle to wide spread proliferation.

Really need to be able to point a URL to a specific Tab/Page of a Report on PBI RS
Very useful feature
