Extend the email subscriptions feature, currently in public preview, to include support for email snapshots of reports in specific filter/slicer states.

It would be awesome if the subscriptions kept the state of the report when it was subscribed.

Hey Microsoft! Could you provide an update on this feature? It was marked as "planned" as of March 30th. I think this would be a fantastic feature to add to this tool.

We have solved this. Our solution runs on any browser based report (e.g., Power BI Service) and generates multi-page pdf or pptx reports with user-defined slicers applied to each page.
The entire report (pdf / pptx) can be attached to an html mail and sent to a mailing list of end-users. The contact mail IDs are mapped to the selected report slicers, ensuring that users only see their own reports / data.
Report generation and mail campaigns can be scheduled or executed on demand. We've done three campaigns in the past couple of months, and it works just fine with several hundred reports, each sent to multiple contacts.

I urgently need this for my daily sales report. Working with the "personalized" filter feature (keeping the filter status as the user has left the report for the next visit), I would assume that similar to pin a report visual based on the current filter status on a dashboard, this would also work for the e-mail subscription (always use the exact filter status of the point in time the e-mail subscription has been done). This would also allow to e.g. describe several times to the same report with different filter status (e.g. once for BU 1, and once for BU 2)...
Eagerly looking forward for this feature!
