I can copy the visual either as image or data table and paste it in other applications.

March 2022 Update: We are looking into this
We recently released the ability to export data from tiles and visuals to a CSV file. This may work for y'all as a workaround until we add the ability to directly copy and paste the visual or data. How much planning is needed to add copy & paste? Please provide an update other than this is 'planned'- a scheduled release date would be a welcome update.

It is outrageous that this basic functionality is not there - please sort it out Microsoft!

It is essential feature to must have
almost we require the data in the same way as designed in matrix and other visuals
copy and paste is require to met this purpose

We need this copy to clipboard functionality very badly. There are many disgruntled END users who will either not switch to Power BI or not use it.
Microsoft needs to consider the 'silent' voice of the final END users who do not go to blogs to cast their votes.
However, many of these 'silent' END users control the purse and have veto rights.
There are a few END user issues that never seems to get the votes but they will hurt Power BI in the long run. Another example is exporting matrix to excel in matrix format and not just in columnar format as is available currently.

could we please have an update? Our team uses Power BI to track down data issues, and then based off of the identifier in our table, we need to search that text in another system to edit our data.

How could copy not be enabled in power BI? This is a critical problem and I am shocked by the lack of support.

HI when will this be available? I need to be able to present the charts and am prevented from doing so.
