Scorecard Metrics: only start showing values from the Start Date

Currently, in the Scorecard Metrics, you can set an end and a start date, but this has no effect (yet?) on the values that are being taken over from linked measures.

Often you start setting up a scorecard in advance, but you create Metrics for your staff between certain dates. Would make a lot more sense if the Metric only starts fetching or displaying the values from the linked measure from the start date (via additional option?) till the configured end date.

That way it allows you to start setting up everything and having the Scorecard and its metrics only fetching/displaying within the specified timeframe. Often Metric are within a CalendarYear or a Fiscal Year.
