RE: field of "duration" type

For all the work put into Time Intelligence functions, the fact that this is missing is unsettling.

RE: field of "duration" type

Would be an amazing addition to graph based on duration in minutes/ seconds for tracking performance metrics. Would greatly appreciate it!

Time formatted filed should be used with Sum, Avg function its common use of every one. Please also provide dynamic nature with sum, summarize function from Slicers.

RE: field of "duration" type

Hello Team ,

Our organization have more than 200 power bi users had an review from almost all of them are looking for Duration Data Type, in a lot of scenarios we wish to see the average of time and other calculations which is very important during Analysis of the Services we work upon.
It would be way more beneficial if Power Bi has the capability to do that like in Excel .

Thanks
Dixit

RE: field of "duration" type

Honestly, this is a much needed feature. I shouldn't have to mess around in excel with all it's extra steps to convert time (which is recorded as a decimal in my company) into a duration. As it stands .5 (which for us is a half hour, or 30 minutes) equates to a half day or 12:00:00 hours.

Please give us some options here.
