Ability to turn off the SQL Endpoint/Sematic Model in certain scenarios

When mirroring or bring data in from other systems and standing up warehouses or lakes it would be nice to have the ability to turn off the semantic model/sql endpoint. This will enable the setup of a bronze layer where you want to separate out resource but not have multiple additional items created if eventually being able to bring them together in another way or another layer. It is adding in overhead to the environment that is not needed when trying to get multiple items into a solid structure.
