In Power BI Table and Matrix visual, there is a need for an option to add a serial no. This is pretty useful to refer to which record number people are looking at. User can use Rank, but they might not have a unique rank always

There should be an option to turn this on or off for all Table visuals.

Yes we need this functionality and I agree with Umesh K:
It is Good Idea, but Serial number should not change if user sort on different column.
