A lot of people are used to having the option with software to choose either a light or dark theme to suit their preference.
I would like to be able to provide my report consumers the same option with the reports I build, because, although I prefer a dark theme, not everyone does.
Although my requirement is specifically for light and dark themes it could be for any theme option.
A summary of how I see it working:
- When developing the report in Power BI Desktop, the report designer would specify the themes allowed to be selected by the user (default: only one).
- It would be the report designers responsibility to ensure the selected themes worked correctly with the report.
- Report published.
- The user would have the option to select their preferred theme in the Power BI Service.
