This is a continuation of "Allow runtime parameters in Power View and/or Power Query". Request this capability in Power BI Online so users can go to a dashboard and easily be able to search for a list of values. Currently the user would need to use a slicer and individual select each value. An example would be if I had list of part numbers to search in the dashboard. Currently I would need to scroll up and down in a slicer and individually select each one. In SSRS I can create a parameter dropdown and easily type in and even copy and paste values in to search for.

This is absolutely essential, I am not sure why this has not been done till now.

Need user to change value of parameter in Power BI service for data refresh. Currently using Settings/parameter to change values for the dataset. But only 1 user can use this at a time, for when the 2nd user refreshes dataset, the first user's parameterized report gets refreshed with new data as data set gets refreshed. It is also a cumbersome set of steps for business user to go through these steps, which would be standard feature in most reporting tools.
This is becoming a no-go issue to propagate use of PowerBI by larger user base.

Please have the dynamic input parameters in PowerBI service like SSRS. This way, I can easily pass my input to get the result.
