This is a continuation of "Allow runtime parameters in Power View and/or Power Query". Request this capability in Power BI Online so users can go to a dashboard and easily be able to search for a list of values. Currently the user would need to use a slicer and individual select each value. An example would be if I had list of part numbers to search in the dashboard. Currently I would need to scroll up and down in a slicer and individually select each one. In SSRS I can create a parameter dropdown and easily type in and even copy and paste values in to search for.

It would be nice if there is an option to have an enter parameter in the same page of a report Dashboard using power bi report server. A nice to have a feature would be to save time of load date and improve performance in both side (Database server & Power bi serve).

It is indeed quite surprising that this feature is still missing...unless I have missed out something very obvious...

This is the most important feature for Power BI.
