Hi there,
I was hoping that the Power BI team could consider bringing additional font formatting options into Power BI. So wherever there is an option to specify font size, colour and so forth, we should also be able to specify other options such as:
* Bold
* Italic
* Underline
* Strikeout
Also I was wondering if it wouldn't be a good idea to allow users to highlight a specific part of a text to format it, instead of formatting the font for the entire object in question.

We introduced this functionality as of November 2021!

RE: additional font formatting (bold, italic, underline, etc)
I want to be able to bold a specific column. I can change the font color, the background color, and the alignment, but not able to bold/underline/italicize/strikeout/etc.
RE: additional font formatting (bold, italic, underline, etc)
This idea is NOT yet completed. While you can change the color of the font and the background of the cell/column, it is still not possible to format the values with bold, italic, underline, or strikethrough. If we already have other types of formatting, it seems like it wouldn't be too complex to add more customizable options, especially when talking about the standard font formatting.
RE: additional font formatting (bold, italic, underline, etc)
This is not completely introduced. I should be able to specify font weight the same way I am able to specify font color in a measure for conditional formatting. Speaking of which, it is beyond me why we even have to write measures for this.
RE: additional font formatting (bold, italic, underline, etc)
Hey, can we please have it similar to the way we modify SVG images.
RE: additional font formatting (bold, italic, underline, etc)
This feature has not been sufficiently introduced. For example I would like to bolden the first row of my table as it would help the reader better orient himself within my table.
RE: additional font formatting (bold, italic, underline, etc)
I have the same need also to make 1 column underline. When I conduct UI/UX test and ask users (someone never used PBi before) to interact with a table. 90% didn't know the table is clickable to cross filter other viz. By putting an underline and blue text, it mimics a hyperlink thus user know is clickable.
RE: additional font formatting (bold, italic, underline, etc)
This feature is definitely not done. I need to adjust the format of text beyond what is offered by conditional formatting. This is a very basic feature that should exist in every place that text is displayed. This issue being marked as closed while clearly unfinished as the dev team furiously works on the on-object interaction no one needs which receives hundreds of negative comments, really makes it feel like they don't listen to the community.
RE: additional font formatting (bold, italic, underline, etc)
This is NOT completed.
The feature they implemented is not this one:

Not sure how we go about getting this reopened-- we shouldn't have to start over with vote getting since the implemented feature is not what is being requested.
A simple MS provided/Certified HTML viewer visualization would do the trick for 90% of the use cases I would think. We shouldn't have to purchase a visual for this.
RE: additional font formatting (bold, italic, underline, etc)
This is soooooooo crucial for making financial statements that look decent...
RE: additional font formatting (bold, italic, underline, etc)
When will this feature be available for use in tables and matrix?
