You are creating a review (document) describing the landscape of sales in Poland and you would like to add some dashboards into this as a visual. ofcourse, I can creat the screenshot and add it but the image will work better.

I was hoping to use Power BI to replace monthly KPI's I create in Reporting Services....but without export to PDF I can't do this. The Principal of my college expects these reports in PDF format so he can present to the Governors at monthly meetings.

Why not include it?

The Power BI developers should develop the same export functionallity that can be used in Excel (export to PDF)

The way I make a PDF:
Make a Printscreen of the Power BI report.
Copy & paste it to Word (landscape with narrow margins)
If you want you can ad some headers & footers.
Export the word document to PDF

And for those of us not issued a 4k monitor with users who will only consume it in a PDF or excel format, period? This is rediculous.

Export to PDF is Possible
Step 1: Use 4K Monitor
Step 2: Pint Screen
Step 3: Paste to Paint, Cutting and Save as .PNG format
Step 4: Use PNG to PDF Online Utility

I figured out what the solution is, if your OS and/or browser supports printing to pdf, the option appears when you select Print Dashboard. When I looked at the print dashboard today on my Win10 in IE, there it was.

If you use Edge instead of IE you can control it a little bit better with Shrink to fit and turning the headers and footers off.

I generally use WinSvr2012 for a majority of the time, which apparently by default doesn't support it.

And it does work with Chrome. Better in fact because you can tell it to include any graphics that are included on your dashboard.
