New Desktop app update installed an almost white user interface. There is zero contrast which is not good for the eyes. I see where some people have requested a light interface so incorporate an option to select either light or dark theme like in the Office apps.

all my designs are based on the dark mode, now they look awful and there is no other way to fix it than to reinstall older version... not a good color to stare at hours too...

We need our dark mode returned. The white/gray mode is much more difficult to work with and makes distinguishing between words/text harder as well when developing the report.

Yes the entire industry is giving us dark mode and Power BI team decided to switch it to light and not even provide an option!?

I spent 30 minutes trying to figure out what I did wrong or how I even changed the theme in the first place. Who thought this was a good idea? Guess I'll just wear my sun glasses until it's fixed...

The previous UI was ok. With the June 2019 update it is way too light now!

I work in Power BI a lot, and the old UI was perfect just the way it was. Whoever asked for this needs to jog on. I've never had a headache this bad working in Power BI before - even turned down the brightness of my screen to compensate, but if anything that just makes my eyes strain to see it. Please can you sort/revert this ASAP.

Completely agree. Sad if the only soultion is to back to a previous version.

Toggling between light and dark mode is must for any software. Competitors can do it (I'm pointing at you Spotfire), so why not PowerBI? :-)
