New Desktop app update installed an almost white user interface. There is zero contrast which is not good for the eyes. I see where some people have requested a light interface so incorporate an option to select either light or dark theme like in the Office apps.

I just started learning Power BI about half an hour ago, and due to the blinding brightness and resultant difficulty of finding things even during the initial tutorials (which display a darker desktop application theme), it took me less than a half hour to start searching for that option, only to find it's not available. :(

I though the glaring screen was a glitch... please restore the older scheme, or allow user customization!

Yet another example of Microsoft forcing white space everywhere... their designers need to wake up from the 90s. Please make a dark mode, it can just look exactly like it always has and that would be great.

Dark Mode would be fantastic. Teams, OneNote, Outlook VSCode etc all look so much better with Dark Mode, it's time to give the ppl what they want!

Blog post refers to the new colour scheme as "more modern". I disagree. The dark theme looked more modern and the new more like Windows 95. Please roll back to the dark theme.
