New Desktop app update installed an almost white user interface. There is zero contrast which is not good for the eyes. I see where some people have requested a light interface so incorporate an option to select either light or dark theme like in the Office apps.

I feel not comfortable at all with this interface very bright.
Despite a year of complaints and demands, you still did not bring back a dark mode used originally !!

Seriously this is so ridiculous.
I can't fathom the decisionmaking process behind having an existing dark UI and replacing it with a light one without giving the option to keep the old one. I also can't fathom a world in which a company the size of Microsoft has had from August 14, 2019 until late May 2020 to fix this, and hasn't fixed it. One person working from home could have completely rebuilt the UI in 9 months.
And yet here we are.
