Integrate Charticulator into Power BI Desktop

Would be awesome to have Charticulator as a visual option within desktop. Similar to PowerQuery in desktop I could see an option which allows more free form visual building.

This idea is for tracking the request for a full integration into Power BI desktop. We need your votes! In the meantime please check out the new Charticulator custom visual in AppSource.

I tried Charticulator to create my own custom visual as I couldn’t find anything on the market that already existed and found it to be a really good tool. I made a few suggested improvements on the forum e.g. to have the facility for scrollbars for where there’s a lot of data pulling into the visual that won’t fit as standard

It looks like the tool is a side-project but it would be great if Microsoft was to up it in the priority list as a funded & supported free tool alongside / as part of the Power BI desktop offering. It would be a really powerful to put more development effort behind it so that people can shape their own visuals more easily and encourage further uptake of Power BI as a great tool in the market.

This would be amazing, but the visuals would have to be MS certified in Terms of PBI Service setting restrictions.

+1 for making the results certified visuals, for export. This should be possible as there seems no opportunity to insert malicious code if the integration is tight.
