    Integrate Charticulator into Power BI Desktop

    Would be awesome to have Charticulator as a visual option within desktop. Similar to PowerQuery in desktop I could see an option which allows more free form visual building.

    This idea is for tracking the request for a full integration into Power BI desktop. We need your votes! In the meantime please check out the new Charticulator custom visual in AppSource.

    i think this had a lot of potential and just wasn't marketed well enough. If Microsoft had just added this as a Core Visual out of the box, it would have increased the visibility and people would have "stumbled" across it and it would have led to a lot more use.

    Even though the default charts are helpful. Sometimes we stuck in data story telling to the management. If we have this new features the data story telling would be much better than the current. Also no need to switch between web and BI platform. Thanks Microsoft

    Integrating in Desktop will allow make development easier and at one place. It will also remove efforts in completing internal audits for using external visuals. I would suggest to make it available at the earliest to open endless possibilities for custom visuals.

    I previously did not know about Charticulator. But as soon as I started using it I loved it. I was able to make graphics that before I only had in mind and could not represent them. It would be good if they continue and improve their performance, because when I have a lot of visuals, it takes the longest to load, but it is really useful.

    Having a mechanism to allow all user to explore custom graphics would be very interesting…imagine the potential for innovation!
