Configurable option of Units (Interval) for the axis in a graph. Now PowerBI automatically choices to units between values on the size of the graph and the data. As an example with a small graph and values ranging from minus -200 and +400 the unit PowerBI choices to use is 200. In this example data becomes hard to understand. If there is an option to set a unit on the axis, we could improve visibility if the automatic one doesn’t fill the needs. In the example we could set the unit of the y-axis to 50, this will increase the number of values on the y-axis.

Maybe the number of labels will increase on the y-axis and not enough space to put them. So I can imagine design team wants to make the label part dynamic? But the graph axis lines based on the value put.

Have been avoiding pbi for these and other reasons. With the current client don't have am option. Shame we have to go to ETL layer to fix data for simple config changes like this.

Can't believe this doesn't have more votes. Comparing year on year data is horrendous to visualise when there is a massive blow out, and the trend line looks near identical, when it should be alarming.

RE: Axis with configurable units (/Interval)

This ability exists in Excel so it is odd that the same is not available in PowerBI.

I would like to see an extension of this where as in Excel there are Major and Minor settings for the tick marks also. This would allow us to have the intervals for numbering set to allow ease of readability while having the smaller tick marks to give a better scale between.

The lack of the this critical feature makes Power BI visualizations far inferior to competing software. Current state is unacceptable to the managers using these reports.

It's odd that this feature is still not implemented.
