Currently the DAX formula bar floats over the canvas and creates interference. The only way to avoid this is to set the canvas vertical alignment to middle.
I would like the ability:
- to dock the formula bar in the ribbon like in Excel
- to move the formula bar around as a separate window (say on to a second monitor) like in Tableau
- to display a measure in the formula bar even after clicking away from the measure like in Tableau
- to resize the formula bar using the formula bar's edges and corner's like any other dialogue box
- to dock the formula bar in other parts of the interface (left, right, bottom, etc.)
- to have the IntelliSense / autocompletion suggestions not overlap the DAX formula itself
