As I have mentioned on another Ideas thread, we are rolling out Power BI to our company-wide users. Initial reviews have been positive until I tell them that they can't simply export a matrix to Excel as they see it in Power BI (like our old BI tool will do). This is a big problem. Our users don't want to get a vertical dump in Excel of all of the data that makes up the matrix. They simply want to have in Excel the aggregated data and any calculated results as they appear in Power BI. Why force our users (who many aren't comfortable with Pivot Tables and almost all certainly don't know anything about DAX) to recreate in Excel what Power BI has already done. There has already been over 5,000 votes in favor of this on another thread, which as one person asked "How many votes does it take?". When I type in the keywords "Excel", "Matrix" and "Export", I see over 3,000 threads - many of which are asking for this same functionality. Most have only a few votes, but collectively, there are thousands of votes for this functionality. Here is the link for the one thread that has over 5,000 votes. I'm not sure why it isn't included in the "Top Ideas" section any longer as it was not long ago. https://ideas.powerbi.com/ideas/idea/?ideaid=b33fc4b3-9dae-4356-973d-d5ffe635ce15
