There are old ideas that have been categorized at one point, but have since been implemented without updating the categorization. Recent example; idea submitted to rename items within the Selection Pane. That has been implemented for some time now, yet that idea is still categorized as "Planned". This just brings confusion to what's truly planned, in-progress, backlogged, etc.

We have implemented a view that shows the last 5 ideas updated by Microsoft. There will be many more features coming to offer all our idea authors a much more meaningful experience.
