This would be great, assuming PBI eventually fixes the issue whereby a "reference" query (or, say, two queries "referencing" a base query) causes the base query to run multiple times -- once for each referencing query. If this was fixed, it would be possible to build data marts on the fly -- bringing in a massive dataset and building Facts and Dims via referenced queries. As it is, this causes performance issues for all but the smallest datasets. And it's especially painful if the base query involves pulling hundreds of thousands of JSON records via API, because then, for each reference queries, the API call is made again, and all the JSON expansions must be repeated.
