We need to be able to connect to all of our certified datasets in Power BI from Excel. Currently, you can only connect to Imported Power BI Datasets and not Live Connection Datasets. For example, we provide enterprise SSAS Tabular models to customers and they have many Certified Power BI datasets that point to different perspectives of the tabular model. They are not able to connect to these datasets from Excel which means they are forced to enter the server name, database name and choose the perspective of the model they want to connect to which is not a good user experience and introduces too much margin for error. Please add this to the roadmap!
