It would be nice if there is an option to have a scheduled export of a report to PDF. A nice to have feature would be to directly e-mail it to people so they are being notified of the latest report.

In addition to the support we have for paginated reports already, we have started the work to support this for Power BI reports and expect it to land by the end of the calendar year in the Power BI service.  Like for paginated reports, it will be a Premium feature and will be available to customers with either Premium capacity or if you have the new Premium per user license, which will be available at no cost to all users during the public preview period.  You can read more about getting priority access to the public preview for your tenant at this link - https://powerbi.microsoft.com/blog/priority-access-sign-up-for-power-bi-premium-per-user-public-preview-now-available/

What's the status of this? I have no adoption of reports I have built because I cannot automate their distribution. People still don't want to go to run report themselves. They want it attached and distributed by email.

Especially for large datasets used to provide monthly metrics, a lot of manual effort could be eliminated by providing a function to export either tables (append to existing) or export data from visuals (measures, etc.) to SharePoint Online Lists or other database tools (or even within Power BI itself). This would be a static snapshot feature to capture the current state of dynamic data and preserve/archive history of KPIs.

I also agree to put the focus on data export. A PDF is nice, but periodically storing the data adds value.
Whether the export is to Excel, a SharePoint list, an Access database or whatever, I wouldn't care. The main thing is the technical possibility.
An MSFlow connector to the data would also be great. Currently you can query alarms, which is an interesting thing, but I don't know of any application that uses the alarm function seriously.

It would be nice if we have feature in Power BI reports to schedule the export Table's visual data to One-drive on regular frequency.

RE: scheduled export of a report to pdf

Hi Chris, Any update by when ability to print/export the entire table of data to PDF or other format will be available?Ability to export to PDF with custom visuals and take print is needed and not having is a shortcoming as a functionality. Hoping the next releases would address this issue.

RE: scheduled export of a report to pdf

PDF are pretty useless. i'm voting for the ability to auto export the data/measures to csv or excel so it can be used to create a time series of a measure
