It would be great if we can connect or open the password protected excel workbook inside Power BI Desktop. Of course we should know & provide the password first.

If Microsoft wants to do business in Europe with PBI, it is a MUST to comply with GDPR regulations.

Indeed very useful feature, avoids having to reorganize many Excel files
