    Connect to password protected excel workbook

    It would be great if we can connect or open the password protected excel workbook inside Power BI Desktop. Of course we should know & provide the password first.

    It would be very useful. Protecting your Excel workbook allow preserve your data in your company and you can share a Query made with Excel or Power BI.

    This feature is a MUST; otherwise how can we use excel from Power Automate with a minimum security?

    I somewhat expect to have issues connecting to Salesforce or other non-Microsoft products. But it unbelievable to me that we cannot connect to excel files if they have a password or if they are .xlsb. How was this missed?
