I want to be able to specify a dynamic value in the DataCoverageDefinition property described here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/analysis-services/tom/table-partitions?view=asallproducts-allversions&source=docs
The reason I don't use hybrid tables is because when I use reports that query data from only the cache, the query is also sent to the data source. This takes too long. If I could specify a value like RELATED('Date'[DateKey]) = TODAY() then the report would only query the source if the visual required it. This would make performance much better.
